This is the bedroom before painting, but after the victorian border has been taken down. You really cant tell how bright the pink really is in the photos. But, trust me it is PINK!
We had to spackle the nail holes. There were about 3000 of them.
And we painted the ceiling a bright white. It had not been painted in 10 years. So it was in dire need of a fresh coat of paint.
This is the new color I am using called Graceful Willow. It is a very creamy soft off white color. Just a hint of color.
This room is about 13x15 in size. As you can see we have a large dark finish sleigh bed and there is also an entertainment center that is in the same dark finish. Those two pieces pretty much fill up the room. I wanted something light on the walls and then I will put some color in with a bedspread and drapes. Hopefully this will make the room appear larger than it is. Well, I am off to Lowes to buy new window blinds.Lorri

What a fantastic transformation Lorri!! You can come stay in County Armagh anytime you like and help me pick paint colours for the house!! Such a lovely tranquil colour for the walls - the after pictures I mean!! Hope you've had a lovely weekend!
