I bought my favorite red toile at Hobby Lobby. It was 30% off the original price so I got the fabric for $6.
I took the screws out of the stool with my drill so that I could easily staple the new fabric to the cushion.
I trimmed the excess fabric around the edges. Placed the cushion back on the frame and screwed it back into place with my handy dandy screw gun.
Much Better! It made a big difference in the look. This project took me less than 30 minutes from beginning to end.
I am going to thrift shop. Have a great Friday. See you tomorrow for Pink Saturday!

Ooooo that is so cute. I love toile, it makes everything look good! Maybe I should make a dress of it....
I love toile! I have a yard of that fabric too. Your bench looks great!

Don't you just love a quickie project! It turned out great. I love that fabric too.
What a gorgeous fabric Lorri, and such a wonderful job! It never ceases to amaze me how some people can just decide to turn their hand to something and all of a sudden they have a gorgeous new thing to show off. We have a little nursing chair that was Rod's Mum's and I love it but it needs someone to show me how to recover it. Now, there's something you can show me how to do when you are here on your grand tour of Ireland!!
Love and blessings to you and your family this weekend Lorri!

You did a great job. It looks new. Pretty fabric!
Hey now, I was wondering how your red bedroom was coming along. Your bench will fit right in, and the new and improved look is super!
