Planting English Roses

I love the look and the smell of heirloom roses. David Austen has the most wonderful varieties available to purchase.

I am planting some this year in my front flower bed.
I love the pink one

And the simple peach are just gorgeous!

Doesnt that look delicious? Just like a ripe peach. I can smell them already.
Have a great day!

Oh Lorri, great post! I love planting roses and caring for them. They remind me of my dad....This will be my third year without roses in the garden---we moved a few years ago and had to start all over again with landscaping. You will have to tell me your favorites :) I know I want the yellow peace rose for sure :) Have a great Easter Weekend!xo

YUM! I love them. I just don't do very well with roses. I just don't have a green thumb when it comes to them. Darn. So very pretty though! My DH had huge rose bushes (English roses) at his house before we were married....he used to bring me bouquets all the time. They were so lovely. Gosh, I miss them.

Blessings,
Spencer
