Summer Project

Here are a few pictures of my other decorating project. My Shasta trailer! I bought it last summer and have not had time to start on it since I got married. But I plan to get her back in shape so that we can take her out on the town. I use to own a 1960"s Scotty trailer that was fully restored. I sold her last spring. This trailer has alot of issues, but will look great when she is put back together.
She needs a new paint job and some white wall tires. I am putting new birch wood inside and black and white floor tiles. My son is rebuilding the little kitchen with just a microwave and refrigerator. I am taking the original stove and ice box out. I want to be able to use this trailer and it be more comfortable. My last trailer was so original that I would not tear out the old kitchen stuff and it was just alot of wasted space, but she went to a great gal and I know she is being loved well.

I am a member of Sisters on the Fly. A great group of women who travel, fish, camp and generally have a wonderful time. It is kind of like being a girl scout again only with a little wine to go with it! I have missed out on so many great trips this year, so have to get busy with my little project so I can go also!

My trailers name is Outlaw Annie. I am sister #752. Check out the website when you have time. http://www.sistersonthefly.com/.
Have a wonderful day. I am planning to some gardening this weekend. I will post some new pictures of a stool that I am recovering also.
Hugs,
Lorri

I have yet to post an updated pic of my cutie trailer I bought. We plan to work on it this weekend so that I can have it ready for my antique show at the end of March. Yours is really cute, can't wait to see the finished product.

Lorri, I am very interested in this group of ladies. How does one learn more? Where do you find these awesome trailers?? I want one so bad!

Your trailer is so cute, I think it looks great as it is. I would love to have one, too. I haven't seen any such thing around here. I guess I have to look harder. They remind me of a little playhouse, and such good fun!

Oh Lorri I love Outlaw Annie. I want one sooooooooo bad. I would love to join Sisters on the Fly but I feel I live so far away from their events. I think it would be so much fun.

Lorri, I loved the post! I thank you for the additional information too. A question... how heavy are those little trailers? I have a Honda CR-V and was wondering if I could pull it? Do guys go on these trips?

I would love to have something like this, rather than our big diesel motorhome! I would decorate it, but add a potty somehow! I'll have to look around for one. What fun your girls must have.
