An Amazing Life

This Valentine's Day was wonderful as all of them have been since I have met my husband. We ate dinner, listened to music, opened a bottle of wine and watched a movie. We talked and laughed, we shared memories of our past and dreamed of our future. Sometimes, when I first wake up in the morning, I have to pinch myself just to make sure this is real. I really do have a wonderful life. This is what I have dreamed of, prayed for, and waited my whole life for. Every day is better than the last. A quiet, wonderful life, one that flows like a stream and gets better with each passing moment.
I am taking time this morning to thank God for all of his amazing blessings he has poured out on my life this year!
For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11
Have a very blessed Sunday!
Lorri

What a wonderful uplifting post Lorri! Even in tough times, and knowing (as we all do) that things ahead may not be easy, you manage to show an amazing spirit of thankfulness and gratitude. Reading your blog is, as always, such a positive and inspiring joy!

Hope you have a great week Lorri!!

What a beautiful and uplifting post. We all need to take a lesson from you and be so grateful for what we have. I will remember this when I have any negative thoughts. Thank you for sharing.

Very nice post.
I saw your name on another blog where you left a comment. The reason yours caught my eye is because of your name. I have a sister named Lorri; you're the only other person I've ever found with the name spelled that way.
