I was so sad today when I heard that Barbara Billingsley had passed away. I loved her character on Leave it to Beaver! I have wished for years that I could be just like her! Yes, it is sad. She was so classy and the perfect housewife on the show. I loved her kitchen on the show.
I agree with you Lorri ~ Barbara Billingsley's June Cleaver is memorable. While some may have mocked her apron and her pearls, I think that played the kind of Mom we all want to come home to. I'm wearing my pearls too!
